For Hajj, orders are taken in advance, and the pilgrimage is performed strictly during the days of Hajj (Dhul Hijjah).

Yes. By the permission of Allah, the person for whom the pilgrimage is performed (deceased or chronically ill) receives the full spiritual reward of the Hajj or Umrah, as if they had performed it themselves. This includes the expiation of sins.

The one who finances a Badal Umrah or Hajj receives an immense reward for their act of charity (Sadaqah) and for honoring the rights of parents/relatives. It is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) for you.
